Very effective Mo/A Spike in HA
OK, yesterday in Scarred Earth, we came up against 6 Mo/A, 1 Rt/Me and 1 R/W (Spirit Spammers).
The Spike was extremely fast, and almost un-infusable if they had got a perfect spike in each run. What they did was, use Deaths Charge to teleport in on the target, use Holy Strike and Soulstone Strike to take out the target in one clearn spike, then teleport out.
I personally have never seen this build before, only similar ones like the AoE E/A. But thier healball was very effective. We were running dual smite and it was nearly impossible to pressure them. I'm going to try it out today with my guild hopefully, should work nicely

with those two spirit spammers, and 6 monks.. i bet they are hoping for a hall skip cause that looks like on poverful holding build.

The build is effective when run correctly, there are a few copy's about which don't match up too our curent version. We have held halls with it several times and now bloodspike has had a nerf it is probs one of the most effective holding builds at the min.

Yea were doin ok with this build. Had alot of positive feeedback from some Top guilds which means alot to us.
Just waitin for the flamin to start....

With aftercast and a .75 cast on the follow up how is that not infuseable?

Read the description for holy stike and soulstone strike fully. Add a knock down in there and the damage output doubles.

They took out our 1st AoE smiter in one spike, no follow up. Some of thier other spikes were not perfect, and infusable. But if its against a 'fleshy' profession, and the spike is done right, it is very hard to infuse.

Holy Strike is armor ignoring, so the fleshiness (ie: Armor Level) of the target shouldn't matter.
Are they using SoJ to get a knockdown? I sure hope so because a 348 damage spike isn't scary. Now with SoJ and Holy Strike it gest up to 659 damage at 16 smiting. Are the Rt's bringing any spike skills with them?

Ok, I saw them use deaths charge once, and I didnt see what they used to knock us down. They obviously were using another teleport skill, but I didnt manage to see what it was sorry.

Nataku, I don't recall ever fighting you guys. I saw you guys run this on observer mode though, and can tell you guys have incredible coordination. After the first death's charge is used, there is 45 seconds of predictable spiking going on, I don't like that. They were using someone /w gale to knockdown.
